MobileMe plug-in version 1.16 is out

Version 1.16 is available for download. This update restores the ability to use the plug-in after the recent change to the MobileMe online service (see the MobileMe Service Update post for details). NOTE: Version 1.16 is not going to resolve the issue with Lightroom 3.0 for Mac (x64). For details, see the plug-in's home page. Hello Vlad, I have LR3 and I just purchased your plugin for mobileme. My problem is with the login it won’t accept it, when I tried the shareware version it worked just fine that is why I purchased it, was there a diffrence between the purchased and shareware version that makes it not work? Also if this is an Adobe problem do you have any insight as to when this will get fixed or addressed. Like the product but it’s not working at the moment. Thank you.

  I have a special build of version 1.16 where you’ll see an option to clear the activation data. This is just to test if the problem would go away after the plug-in goes back to the “trial” state. Anyone who is interested in testing this can drop me a line (alloyphoto@alloyphoto.com) and I’ll e-mail back the zip file so you can conduct the test in your environment and let me know if the miracle happens and you are able to log in again 🙂
  Once again, the issue affects only Lightroom 3 users under Mac OS running in 64bit mode, so your hardware must be Mac Pro or MacBook Pro with Intel Core 2 Duo, Intel Quad-Core Xeon, Dual-Core Intel Xeon, or Quad-Core Intel Xeon CPU.

What are the issues with Lightroom 3. I just purcahsed the Plug-in for my Mac and the export uploaded 68 pictures to My MobleMe Gallery.

  The issue is with Lightroom 3.0 for Mac, it seems to affect all users of Mac OS 10.6.3 and 10.6.4 (x64). What it does, it prevents users from logging in the MobileMe service and throws a “Unexpected Server Response” message. If you’re running Windows, there should be no issues.

    What happens when you tell Lightroom 3 to open in 32bit mode. Does that resolve the issue? Just wanted to know because I am very interested in purchasing your plug-in

      This might be a good idea, although I am not sure if Lightroom will actually run a different code.
      Could you try this and see if you can authenticate and upload photos this way?
      Just keep in mind that the problem with Lightroom 3.0 for Mac seems to be intermittent, so even if this works the first time I would suggest trying again a couple of times and see if the error pops up. You don’t need to purchase the plug-in to test this.

Until now the plugin worked fine. So we are still awaiting adobe´s help to complete the new plugin working for mac users too . 🙁

  This is really in Adobe’s hands now as the issue needs to be fixed in Lightroom’s code.
  Considering the past history and frequency of updates for Lightroom, I don’t think it would be too long before the new update (3.1?) is released.
