Dropbox Plug-in version 1.0.0 BETA

I am happy to announce the immediate availability of the Dropbox Export Plug-in for Adobe Lightroom.

This plug-in allows you to export and publish photos from Lightroom directly to your Dropbox account.

The plug-in is currently in Beta Testing. Please submit your feedback and bug reports to alloyphoto @ alloyphoto.com

What's the advantage of this plug-in vs. just exporting to a folder in my Dropbox directory? I suppose perhaps that you could use a machine that doesn't Dropbox installed. Curious to hear other reasons, though.

  There are several advantages, the main one is keeping Dropbox photo folders fully synchronized with Lightroom – that is if you use publish services. With publish services you can easily modify and update online photos without having to think what goes where.

    When ou Export to the same folder as a published folder then publish more images the exported file doesnt show in the published collection. That really doesnt seem very synchronized.
    Either fully synchronize or disable Exporting to a Published folder.
    And.. dont charge people to beta test.
